Trouble in the woods quest - Guild Wars Forums

When I was fighting those grawl they piled me and I died. While I was walking back devona killed all of those grawl. Do I get XP for the monsters she killed? (Devona was not in my party, I only needed to follow her)

Only if you helped killing what she killed and where in a certain range when they died.
If you were dead when they died or out of range, then you do not get exp.
